TOTAL WELD MANAGEMENt

Incorporating elements of Changeover Reduction (SMED) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Total Weld Management aims to get the operators engaged early on in the implementation of welding robotics. Total Weld Management can also work to reintroduce existing processes to the worker, putting them in the driver’s seat for maintaining and operating their equipment in the best way for the business.

Total Weld Management aims to break down the barriers between engineering, procurement, leadership and the operator of welding equipment by putting in place team-based improvement activities aimed at reducing the time to change over, by reducing the variation in the process and by improving the quality and process yield.
